We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Project Officer to join our team and play a key role in connecting students with meaningful industry experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with employers, curriculum teams, and learners across the College Group to develop and coordinate innovative employer-led projects and T Level industry placement opportunities that help students develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed for future success.
About The Role
You will be responsible for leading the development and coordination of employer-led projects linked to T Level Industry Placements and wider work experience activity across the College Group.
Working closely with employers, curriculum staff, and Work Placement Officers, you will transform genuine business challenges into engaging learner projects, ensuring students gain valuable industry insight while supporting employers to meet their workforce and business needs.
You will act as the central point of contact for employer projects, overseeing activities from initial employer engagement and project planning through to delivery, evaluation, and reporting.

Duties
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
- Developing and coordinating employer-led projects across a range of curriculum areas.
- Supporting T Level Industry Placements and wider work experience initiatives.
- Delivering employability workshops, presentations, and student briefings.
- Coordinating project opportunities and matching them to learners and curriculum programmes.
- Monitoring learner participation, employer feedback, and project outcomes.
- Conducting employer compliance checks, risk assessments, and site visits where required.
- Supporting employer engagement activities, guest speakers, employer events, and enrichment opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on project activity and impact.
Experience
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of employer engagement, stakeholder management, or project coordination.
- Is passionate about supporting young people to develop employability skills and succeed in the workplace.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Has strong administrative, organizational, and data management skills.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering an excellent service to employers, students, and colleagues.

Experience within Further Education, apprenticeships, work-based learning, careers, employability, or work placements would be advantageous.
