Astute’s Nuclear Team is partnering with a global nuclear business who provide engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and technical services to the nuclear industry, supporting the design, operation, maintenance, and life extension of nuclear power plants. They are looking to recruit a Project Operations Lead for its Bristol office.
Role Overview
The Project Operations Lead will be responsible for acting as a deputy to the Head of Business Line and will be responsible for company strategy and operational objectives.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum
- Benefits:
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Head of Business Line in delivering strategic objectives and business performance.
- Lead operational activities to drive growth, efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee successful project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Support business development through tender preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to optimise resource planning, capability development, and workload management.
- Monitor business performance, reporting, forecasting, and governance to achieve commercial targets.
- Act as deputy to the Head of Business Line, providing leadership and representing the business when required.
Professional Qualifications
- An engineering degree with a background in Engineering, Commercial, or project management
- Project Management qualification

Personal Skills
- Experienced in project management/delivery
- Previously led supported bids, tenders, and business development
- Well versed with nuclear projects.
