About The Role

As a Project Operations Representative, you will serve as a key interface between the St Fergus Control System Replacement Project and Operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of project activities. Provide technical support and operational input. You will promote a strong safety culture, compliance with company policies and procedures, sharing of best practices and safety initiatives across principal contractors.

Why The Role Matters

This role is critical in ensuring that major infrastructure upgrades can be delivered safely while maintaining the integrity and reliability of operational assets. By representing Operations throughout the project lifecycle, the role helps manage risk, supports effective decision-making, drives compliance with safety and change management processes, and ensures that project outcomes are practical, sustainable and aligned with the needs of the business and its operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide technical support to the project team, promptly replying to Technical Queries.
  • Locate operational and as-built drawings.
  • Attend project progress meetings and provide constructive input and guidance on physical plant operations / limitations.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Remain hands-on with site activities throughout the project as operational demands allow, maintaining authorised roles, retaining close engagement with critical assets, and ensuring operational considerations are accurately represented within project decisions and delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
