Location: Narvik, Norway Rotation: 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off Project: 230MW First Phase Hyperscale Data Centre Campus
We're working with a leading international data centre consultancy delivering the first 230MW phase of a major hyperscale campus in Narvik, Norway.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner to join the client-side delivery team and play a pivotal role in one of Europe's most significant mission-critical construction projects.
Working alongside senior project leadership, you'll take ownership of programme planning, scheduling, and progress reporting, ensuring the successful delivery of a complex, fast-paced development that will form part of Europe's next generation of digital infrastructure.

As Senior Planner, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving the master programme across all stages of construction, commissioning, and handover.

You'll work closely with Project Directors, Construction Managers, consultants, and principal contractors to ensure the programme remains achievable, transparent, and aligned with project objectives.
This is a highly collaborative role where your ability to identify risks early, optimize sequencing, and provide meaningful programme analysis will be critical to the successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the integrated master programme for a 230MW hyperscale data centre development.
- Monitor progress across multiple contractors and work packages.
- Produce detailed short, medium, and long-term programmes.
- Analyse programme performance and identify risks, delays, and opportunities.
- Challenge contractor programmes to ensure realistic delivery strategies.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Support recovery planning and programme optimization where required.
- Coordinate planning activities across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Work closely with commercial, construction, and project management teams to ensure alignment across all project functions.
- Facilitate planning workshops and programme review meetings with key stakeholders.
- Drive best practice planning processes using industry-leading scheduling tools.

You'll ideally have:
- Significant planning experience within data centres.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and programme controls.
- Experience developing and managing integrated project schedules on large-scale construction projects.
- A strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and commissioning activities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the confidence to challenge programmes where necessary.
