Project Planner – M&E / Critical Infrastructure

Maidenhead-based

  • Travel across Slough, Hayes and London
  • Occasional travel to the Netherlands
  • Ongoing contract (£600 per day | Outside IR35)

M&E / Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure

We’re currently looking for an experienced Project Planner to join a growing project team delivering large-scale, fast-track M&E and critical infrastructure projects.

Based from the Maidenhead HQ, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to develop and manage detailed project programmes, monitor progress, and identify risks or delays that could impact delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 project programmes
  • Manage cost-loaded and labour-loaded programmes
  • Monitor site progress and update project schedules
  • Review and integrate subcontractor programmes
  • Produce weekly lookaheads and progress reports
  • Analyse critical path, dependencies, milestones, and programme risks
  • Identify slippage and develop recovery plans
  • Support claims, extensions of time, and commercial applications
  • Attend planning, progress, and coordination meetings
  • Track commissioning activities and ensure they align with the overall programme
  • Work closely with delivery teams to maintain accurate and achievable schedules

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 4–5+ years’ planning experience within construction, engineering, or M&E
  • Strong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar
  • Experience developing detailed construction programmes, ideally Level 4
  • Good understanding of M&E construction and project delivery
  • Experience on large-scale, fast-track projects
  • Strong knowledge of programme logic and critical path analysis
  • Experience reviewing and managing subcontractor programmes
  • Strong progress reporting and programme analysis skills
  • Ability to support commercial teams with programme impacts and claims

Experience within Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor, Critical Infrastructure, Power/Emergency Power, or major M&E construction would be highly advantageous.
