We are looking for a Planner to join our team on a major construction project in Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile scheme, working closely with project, commercial, and design teams to develop and maintain robust project programmes. You will help ensure that the project is delivered efficiently, identifying risks and opportunities while providing accurate and timely programme information to support decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining project programmes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitoring progress against programme milestones and reporting on performance
  • Identifying programme risks and opportunities and supporting mitigation planning
  • Working closely with project, commercial, and design teams to ensure alignment between programme and delivery activities
  • Supporting change management and project controls processes
  • Producing short-term and long-term programme updates and reports
  • Assisting with progress reviews and planning workshops
  • Supporting pre-construction and tender activities where required

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a Planner role within the construction industry
  • Experience working on medium to large construction projects
  • Good understanding of project planning and programme management principles
  • Experience using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate programme information clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
