We are seeking a skilled and passionate Project and Capacity planner and PMO lead for the Project. The Project and Capacity Planner will be an experienced transformation professional, with a strong and demonstrable background delivering large, multi-year, business critical transformations. The Planner is responsible for overall planning and execution of Project Vision, creating and managing the detailed integrated plan, managing related change control, and creating detailed resource plans. In addition to this activity, the planner will also act as the PMO for the part code change activity – a critical enabler / pre-work required to enable the success of Project Vision.

As a dynamic, self-starter, the individual will have the ability to communicate with, and influence senior workstream leaders, ensuring that the PMO function is positioned to ‘add value’ to the project team as a whole.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the detailed planning of the transformation project
- Take responsibility for capacity planning – work with SLT to flag challenges and gaps in terms of resourcing
- Manage all change control processes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of plans at workstream and central level
- Receive and manage the quality assurance of status updates from key workstreams
- Act as the PMO for the part code change – a critical enabler / pre-work to enable the success of Project Vision
- Define the approach to leading people resourcing throughout the programme, including capacity planning
- Input into the upskilling and capability building activities across the project team
- Drive the management of the project budget and associated reporting

What we’re looking for:
- Proficient in project management processes and associated tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira)
- S4 Hana / SAP programme experience
- Practical experience of leading programme management: Tracking progress, status reporting, RAID management, team orchestration
- Understanding of how to run technology implementations
- Strong experience in project planning (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification)
- Expert in capacity planning
- Budget management capability
- Highly organised with the ability to see ‘the big picture’ and a strong focus on outcomes
- Logical, analytical, and multi-tasking
- Strong stakeholder engagement capability, and ability to influence and motivate others
- Must be able to think and plan strategically; yet possess a detail-oriented, pragmatic management approach
- ‘Big four’ consulting experience would be an advantage
