Project Planner

Belfast

We are hiring for our client, a well-established contractor specialising in delivering Utilities, Civil Engineering, and Infrastructure projects across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, for an experienced Project Planner.

This newly created Project Planner role is based in Belfast and, following a series of successful contract awards, offers the opportunity to work across projects ranging from £100K to £10 million+ for several high-profile, global clients.

The successful Project Planner will take ownership of creating, maintaining, and reviewing programmes of work as part of a growing, multi-award-winning team.

The Role:

  • Create, maintain, and review Programmes of Work
  • Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements
  • Liaise with site teams, specifically QS and PM
  • Produce marked-up drawings relevant to project phases
  • Report planning issues to the senior project manager and site management team
  • Contribute to Monthly Progress Reports and Forecasts for the management team
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and monitor progress against as-built programmes
  • Produce Procurement Schedules and resource histograms for capacity and labour planning

The Person:

  • Experience at both tender and contract stages of projects, including NEC
  • Experience using Project Planning software
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Innovative, creative, and proactive with a solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to represent the company professionally at all times
