Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to make a real impact on the UK's transition to cleaner energy? As a Project Planner, you'll provide the planning expertise that helps renewable energy projects progress from concept to delivery.

At EDF power solutions, we’re shaping an Electric UK and Ireland. Your work will help us turn that ambition into action – delivering renewable energy solutions that will power homes, businesses and communities for generations to come.

As a Project Planner, you'll work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders across the business, providing the planning insight and structure needed to support projects from development through to construction. Your work will be central to effective project delivery, reporting, governance and long-term success.

The Opportunity

As a Project Planner, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of renewable energy projects across multiple technologies. Working within our Project Management Office, you'll help create, develop and maintain project plans that support informed decision-making and project performance.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, you'll benefit from a flexible hybrid working arrangement of both our office in Durham and home working with occasional travel for site visits as required.

You'll work across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects, helping to establish robust project plans, track milestones, support reporting activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning standards and processes. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience while helping deliver a net zero future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
