The Project Planning & Controls Associate
The Project Planning & Controls Associate will have responsibility for the project planning function as well as supporting across project controls functions for a large-scale Offshore Wind Farm project.
The role has two key areas of focus. Initially, taking ownership of the current Development Phase schedule, ensuring it is maintained, updated and effectively managed through to completion. In parallel, the role will lead assessment and development of the Construction Phase schedule, working closely with technical, commercial, finance and project delivery teams to establish a robust and integrated plan for the next phase of the project.
The role will provide Project Management with clear and reliable schedule information, analysis and recommendations to support effective project decision-making and delivery.
The role would suit a Project Planner or Project Controls professional, as well as a technically strong Project Engineer or Engineer with planning and analytical responsibilities. Previous offshore wind experience is desirable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
