Position Summary

We are seeking a unique position blending both, 1. generalist Project Manager, with, 2. the ability to specifically perform root cause analysis with the view to then also project manage the subsequent improvement project, all within the operations organisation / across operational processes.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 5+ years of experience in project management, process improvement, or operational excellence, preferably within a technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment/ “diagnosis”, documentation and support the redesign, of operational processes
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps through data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Propose practical, lean, agile, process improvement opportunities/ methodologies to improve delivery speed, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Establish consistent project lifecycle management processes, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within scope
  • Facilitate process mapping sessions in order to identify breakdown in process/ communication and provide sensible/practical solutions
  • Project manage change initiatives across a variety of operational functions
  • Develop and implement project governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, and operating models
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and business stakeholders to align improvement initiatives with strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, business transformation, operational excellence, or process improvement
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
  • Effectively articulate and communicate business workflow using standard methods and tools (i.e. Value Stream Map's, Swim Lane diagram)
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business improvements
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using project and collaboration platforms
  • Proficient in BI and D365.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent project management certification desirable
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Working Environment

  • Remote
  • Travel on a very infrequent basis e.g. 2 times per year
  • Must be able to adopt a flexible work schedule/hours to suit both the business and the post holder given the global nature/coverage of the Operations function.
