Project Manager - Procurement / R&D

Location: London / Weybridge – 2/3 days per week onsite
Contract: Interim / Contract
Day Rate: Competitive
Sector: FMCG / Pharmaceutical

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading global FMCG and Pharmaceutical organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Project Manager to lead a portfolio of strategically important procurement initiatives.

This is a high-profile role requiring an accomplished project leader with extensive experience managing complex procurement projects, engaging senior stakeholders, driving governance, and ensuring successful delivery against demanding timelines.

Whilst experience supporting Research & Development (R&D) functions or R&D Procurement projects is highly desirable, the primary focus is on identifying a proven Procurement Project Manager with a track record of delivering large-scale procurement programmes in complex corporate environments.

The Role

As the Senior Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating procurement projects from initiation through to successful completion. You will provide direction to cross-functional teams, manage project risks and dependencies, and ensure all deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and in line with governance requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
