Senior Technology Project / Programme Manager

Synapri are working with a well-recognised global sports and entertainment business looking to hire a Senior Technology Project / Programme Manager to join a growing technology delivery function and lead some of the organisation’s most strategically important transformation programmes.

The role will initially focus on an enterprise-wide asset management implementation with the view to move into a broader portfolio of strategic programmes across data, AI and technology, supporting an ambitious three-year technology strategy!

Salary

£80/90k

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technology projects and programmes from initiation through to successful delivery
  • Take ownership of programme planning, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery outcomes
  • Lead the asset-management implementation, working closely with a third party, internal teams, and business stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external technology partners
  • Ensure technology programmes remain aligned with wider business objectives and strategy
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes
  • Provide clear programme reporting and governance to senior leadership

Ideal Experience

  • Experienced technology delivery professional with approximately 8+ years' experience delivering complex projects and programmes.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-wide technology implementations
  • Experience with asset management, inventory or similar platforms, such as IFS, IBM Maximo, Octagon or D365 will be essential for this role
  • A strong understanding of asset management, inventory and operational business processes
  • Experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, engineering or similarly complex environments
  • Experience managing systems integrators, consultancies and external technology partners
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
