Project Manager – Wealth & Asset Management / Capital Markets / Banking & Payments

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Practice Area: Wealth & Asset Management, Capital Markets, Banking & Payments
Type: Permanent

Help Shape Platform-Led Change in Financial Services

The Role

We’re looking for experienced Project Managers with deep insight into the business and operating models of wealth managers, asset managers, and investment platforms. You’ll work closely with top-tier clients on complex platform transformation and migration programmes—often involving systems like Aladdin, Avaloq, Cinqor, FNZ, and Charles River. This role requires not just project management skills, but a hands-on understanding of how investment firms run front to back.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead platform change and migration projects across front office, operations, and technology functions
  • Deliver end-to-end regulatory or strategic change across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Own project governance, tracking, and reporting—ensuring transparency and proactive risk management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to align priorities and ensure successful outcomes
  • Guide and support client teams through change adoption, training, and business readiness

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in Wealth & Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Banking & Payments
  • Solid exposure to investment platforms or products—particularly Aladdin, Avaloq, Cinqor, FNZ, or Charles River
  • Strong understanding of business architecture in investment firms—front office, operations, and middle office
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with matrixed stakeholder structures
  • Effective communicator with a consultative mindset and ability to influence change

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
