Quantity Surveyor - Construction Consultancy
London | Competitive Salary + Package
Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where no two projects feel quite the same?
I'm working with a well-established construction consultancy in London looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has built up experience across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and hospitality, and wants to continue broadening their project exposure. The role offers plenty of variety, direct client interaction and the chance to take real ownership of your projects, while being part of a supportive team where career progression is encouraged.
The Role
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, getting involved from early cost advice through to delivery and completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cost planning and estimating
- Procurement and tendering
- Pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying
- Cost reporting and commercial management
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors
- Managing projects and developing strong client relationships

What I'm Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- Previous consultancy / PQS experience
- Experience across a mix of sectors such as commercial, residential, education and hospitality
- Good pre- and post-contract experience
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- A relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related degree
- MRICS, working towards chartership or an ambition to progress through your APC
- A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work
