Project Quantity Surveyor (Construction / Geotechnical)

£50,000 - £60,000 + Hybrid + Company Car + Fuel Card + 25 Days Holiday + Holiday Buy In + Life Insurance

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or Commercial professional with a background in construction, civils or geotechnical projects, looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of projects from tender stage through to final account?

The company on offer is an established specialist provider of geotechnical, geoenvironmental, site and land-based services, with over 30 years of experience supporting clients across the construction, infrastructure, highways, utilities and energy sectors.

You will provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, from preparing tenders and developing cost estimates through to valuations, cost control and final accounts.

Working closely with Project Managers, Contract Managers, site teams, suppliers and subcontractors, you will help ensure projects are commercially controlled and delivered effectively.

The suitable candidate will hold a qualification in Quantity Surveying and have experience in a similar role within construction or geotechnical environments.

The Role

  • Take ownership of estimating and commercial activities from initial tender through to project completion
  • Develop accurate project costs by assessing drawings, specifications, labour, materials and plant requirements
  • Work Closely with Project Managers, Contract Managers and site teams throughout Project Delivery
  • Travelling across South Wales and Southern England
  • Monday to Friday, 8 - 5

The Person

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
  • Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying
  • Full UK driving license
