Project Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre Projects

Location: London, UK

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing delivery team working on complex mission critical projects.

You will play a key role in driving commercial success across the project lifecycle, from procurement strategy and contract management through to completion and final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial performance of assigned mission critical projects
  • Support the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
  • Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor tendering and negotiations
  • Administer subcontract packages, valuations, payments, and variations
  • Monitor project costs, commitments, and cash flow
  • Support change management and commercial risk mitigation
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and provide accurate financial updates
  • Review subcontractor applications and ensure contractual compliance
  • Work closely with project delivery teams to maintain commercial control
  • Support final account negotiations and project close-out

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Experience working within construction, preferably on mission critical, data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or technically complex projects
  • Experience managing subcontract packages, variations, and commercial reporting
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Subcontractor background is preferred not essential
  • Right to work in the UK
