Project Quotation Specialist

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing business within the construction and building materials sector, as they look to appoint an experienced Project Quotation Specialist to join their Sales team.

This role would suit an organised and proactive individual with experience in project coordination, quotations, sales support or administration, ideally within the construction or building products sector. The successful candidate will support projects from initial quotation through to completion, working closely with Sales, Technical, Customer Services, Logistics and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate quotations, smooth project delivery and excellent customer service.

There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a salary of up to £29,000 per annum, alongside 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a Christmas shutdown, healthcare, life assurance and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in project coordination, quotations, sales support, customer service or a similar role
  • Construction knowledge or experience within building products and systems highly desirable
  • Experience using CRM/ERP systems, with strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving and stakeholder management

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate customer quotations, project documentation and supporting information from initial enquiry through to order
  • Support Regional Sales Managers throughout the sales and project lifecycle, ensuring projects progress smoothly and key milestones are achieved
  • Act as a central point of contact for customers and internal teams, coordinating information between Sales, Technical, Customer Services, Logistics and Manufacturing
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, project trackers and customer documentation, ensuring all information is up to date
  • Manage customer enquiries, monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, escalating where required
