Project Resource Manager

Are you an organised and commercially minded Resource Manager who thrives on balancing people, priorities and project demands?
We're looking for a Project Resource Manager to join our growing Professional Services team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind resource planning and utilisation, ensuring our engineers are deployed effectively, customer projects are properly staffed, and our delivery teams have complete visibility of current and future workload.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in resource management, workforce planning, PMO or project operations who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment where they can make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing resource allocation, scheduling, availability and utilisation across our Professional Services engineering team.
- Acting as the gatekeeper for incoming project workload, ensuring work is assigned based on skills, capacity and business priorities.
- Maintaining and optimising our resource planning and booking systems, ensuring data accuracy and visibility across the business.
- Monitoring engineer utilisation, identifying resource conflicts, forecasting future demand and helping maximise delivery performance.
- Producing reporting and insights around capacity, utilisation, project demand and commercial performance to support business decision-making.
- Working closely with Project Coordinators, Engineers, Account Managers and customers to ensure successful project scheduling and delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Project Coordination, PMO or Professional Services Operations.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and competing demands.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting utilisation, capacity and performance data.
- Commercial awareness and confidence producing operational reports.
- Experience working within IT Services, Managed Services or Professional Services environments would be highly advantageous.
