Our client, an international Oil & Gas Operator, is seeking an experienced Project Specialist to join their team in Aberdeen, supporting a major project through the Define phase and preparation for Execute.

Contract: Limited Company or PAYE

Role

The Project Specialist will provide experienced project support to the Project Manager, taking responsibility for progressing agreed work packages and coordinating the multidisciplinary inputs required to deliver them. The role will primarily support Environmental Statement (ES) activities, development planning, engineering studies and preparation for project execution.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Coordination of Environmental Statement data requests and Draft Field Development Plan inputs
  • Topsides modification studies
  • Subsea FEED activities
  • Management of project interfaces and review actions
  • Execute readiness and execution planning
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary technical inputs
  • Independent progression of defined work packages within the established project governance structure

Requirements

  • Strong experience delivering work packages within upstream Oil & Gas development projects
  • Extensive UKCS project experience
  • Significant experience across Define and Execute phases, including engineering studies, execution planning and project approval processes
  • Experience coordinating Environmental Statement and Field Development Plan inputs across technical disciplines
  • Ability to independently progress defined work packages and coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Sound judgement with the ability to identify project risks and recognise when escalation or Project Manager decisions are required
