PROJECT MANAGER, GLOBAL BENEFITS

Overview

Kroll is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support our Global Benefits team. This role will focus on the coordination, delivery, and governance of key global benefits initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, benefits consultants, and HR Operations to drive projects forward, manage dependencies, oversee follow-up actions, and help establish sustainable processes across the global benefits landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Provide day-to-day project management support for benefits-related programs and operational improvements.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic Global Benefits initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action tracking across multiple workstreams and partner teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, governance materials, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of global benefits technology and platform initiatives.

Vendor & Third-Party Management

  • Act as a liaison between the Global Benefits team and external providers, consultants, and project partners.
  • Support the onboarding, stabilization, and ongoing effectiveness of third-party administrators and offshore support teams.
  • Coordinate issue resolution and follow-up activities to ensure service delivery and operational performance objectives are met.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Assist with the identification and implementation of process improvements across global benefits operations.
  • Partner with HR Operations and Benefits team members to streamline workflows and enhance employee and stakeholder experiences.
  • Help establish sustainable processes and controls to support long-term operational effectiveness.

Financial Reconciliation & Governance Support

  • Coordinate and track activities related to benefits financial reconciliations.
  • Support the management and resolution of benefits-related escalations.
  • Ensure action plans are documented, monitored, and implemented to drive sustainable outcomes.
  • Assist with governance reviews and operational readiness activities.

Renewals & Annual Activities

  • Support preparation and coordination of benefit program renewals.
  • Ensure key milestones, documentation, and stakeholder inputs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Track deliverables and support readiness across participating markets and providers.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and project materials.
  • Document key decisions, workflows, controls, and governance requirements.
  • Support knowledge transfer activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in project management or operational delivery roles.
  • Experience working within HR, Benefits, Rewards, or related functions is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Experience working with external vendors, consultants, and third-party service providers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and project tracking tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting global or regional employee benefits programs.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration platforms and implementation projects.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators, offshore service teams, or shared services organizations.
  • Exposure to process improvement, operational governance, and documentation initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring structure, organization, and momentum to critical Global Benefits initiatives, helping the team deliver projects effectively, strengthen operational processes, enhance vendor partnerships, and ensure readiness for ongoing benefits programs and renewals across Kroll's global population.
