Are you an experienced supervisor who puts safety at the heart of everything you do?
We’re looking for Project Supervisors to join our Shaft & Silo Programme, playing a pivotal role in the safe and efficient delivery of important enabling works.
Working as part of a skilled network of supervisory professionals and reporting to the Construction Site Manager, you’ll collaborate with Project Management, Operations, contractors, Works Control and specialist teams. This is an opportunity to be at the centre of project delivery, using your leadership, judgement and site experience to ensure work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standards.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll provide visible, hands-on supervision of physical works, ensuring activities are properly planned, controlled and delivered by competent personnel. You’ll build effective relationships across project teams and contractors, maintaining high standards of safety, security and environmental compliance while helping keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
- Manage safe delivery on site, ensuring work remains within the required safety operating envelope, safe systems of work and Works Control requirements, taking action or initiating STOP procedures where necessary.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and work teams, monitoring performance, competency and activities while working closely with internal teams and specialist advisers to support successful delivery.
- Plan, review and improve work activities, contributing to work scope and hazard reviews, schedules, reporting and safe systems of work while implementing relevant changes to processes and legislation.
- Support projects from delivery through to handover, responding to and investigating abnormal conditions, contributing to handover documentation, participating in emergency arrangements and undertaking relevant Management Authorisations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring

- Relevant technical or site experience could include civil, mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation, construction/demolition, lifting operations, radiological work or waste processes. A CSCS Gold Card would also be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to change, work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and create an environment where colleagues feel respected and included.
