Job Title: Project Supervisor – Commercial Heat Pump Projects

Location: UK-wide travel

Reports to: Project Manager

Contract Type: Full-time

Hex Energy is a specialist in the design, installation, and maintenance of ground and air source heat pump systems across the UK. With in-house design expertise and one of only a few Certified Geo Exchange Design (CGD) engineers in the country, we deliver high-performance renewable energy solutions for both residential and commercial sectors. Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Supervisor to oversee the delivery of our commercial ground source heat pump installations on-site. You will act as the key site-based representative for Hex Energy, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with our design specifications and quality standards.

  • Supervise all site activities for ground source heat pump installations, including borehole drilling, manifold installation, and plant room setup. This could be across 1 or multiple sites.
  • Ensure all contractors and subcontractors are working in compliance with project RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and health & safety standards.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular site checks to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Liaise directly with the main contractor, client representatives, and other trades on-site to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
  • Monitor work progress against programme and report any risks or delays to the Hex Energy Project Manager.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure works are completed in line with approved designs, specifications, and requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of daily site activities, issues, and completed work.
  • Attend site meetings and provide progress updates on behalf of Hex Energy.
  • Support commissioning and handover procedures as required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience supervising M&E or renewable energy installations (heat pump experience highly desirable).
  • Strong understanding of health & safety protocols, including RAMS and CDM regulations.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • CSCS card (Supervisory level desirable).
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Ability to travel and stay away as required for UK-wide projects.
