As a Central Online Operations Coordinator at Asda Home Office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the support plan for our retail and field teams and supporting the central online activity plan as well as our BAU activities. You will be responsible for ensuring retail-facing activity is planned and delivered and that stores receive the right information at the right time.

A key part of your role will be the end-to-end coordination of our equipment portfolio, store communication, and helping stores with mapping queries. Supporting our mission to drive exceptional customer service and efficient store operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, update, and execute our activity plan, ensuring the activity communication is clear, concise, and relevant for store teams.
  • Provide support for line manager, lead manager, and SD by keeping the activity plan updated, flagging issues and risks.
  • Work across the online central team engaging stakeholders at all levels to support the timely execution of our activity plan.
  • Make changes to the plan to ensure activity lands as planned and any changes are approved, updated, and communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for monitoring and identifying process opportunities in online and creating updates to the process to optimise and improve the process.
  • Coordinate any trial or development work to improve our BAU processes.

You’ll have the following:

  • Proven experience in retail preferably for a large organisation.
  • Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly to urgent operational needs and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a particular focus on Excel, and experience with communication platforms or software is desirable.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and communication across all levels of the organisation.
