Project Support Office (PSO) Analyst / Hybrid Location: Manchester or London

Closing date – 11th August 2026 at 12:30pm

Join our evolving Service Delivery function and play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of change across the UK’s smart metering ecosystem. As a Programme Support Office (PSO) Analyst, you'll work at the heart of major programmes, providing governance, reporting, risk management, and project support that helps ensure successful delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and analytical PMO professional looking to develop their career within a complex, technology-driven, and highly collaborative environment.

How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future

  • Provide programme governance, reporting, and project controls to support the successful delivery of key business change initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), ensuring actions and mitigations are effectively tracked.
  • Deliver insightful reporting, data analysis, and dashboarding to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate programme activities including meetings, agendas, minutes, actions, and stakeholder communications, ensuring excellent standards of organisation and administration.
  • Build effective relationships across DCC, promoting best practice programme management and supporting the ongoing development of governance processes and controls.

What you need to bring

  • Experience working within a PMO, Programme Office, or project delivery environment, with knowledge of governance, reporting, risk, and issue management
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to identify trends and help shape solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to collaborate, influence, and challenge appropriately.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project, with experience using reporting tools such as Power BI
  • A proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
