Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh / Inverness, is currently looking to recruit a Project Support Officer for an initial 12 month contract with option to extend on a day rate of £335-£385 (inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working up to two days per week in the Edinburgh / Inverness office.

Responsibilities:

  • To support an Enabling Services Modernisation Programme which will fundamentally review and redesign our enabling services which include: Business Support, People Services, Corporate Office and Digital. There may be a requirement, during this assignment, to support other initiatives in our portfolio.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience (minimum three years) of supporting major projects or change initiatives, with an ability to adapt to inevitable change.
  • Expert knowledge of, and experience in, creating project documentation and artefacts.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and balance multiple competing demands in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Experience collecting, analysing, and presenting data to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and business tools (such as Microsoft applications).

Desirable Skills:
