Job Description

Overview

AtkinsRéalis has a long-standing reputation in the Nuclear sector for delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions to some of the world's most complex engineering challenges. We support the full lifecycle of the nuclear industry, from developing the next generation of nuclear stations and maintaining existing assets, to addressing the challenges of decommissioning. As the demand for sustainable energy continues to grow across the UK and globally, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that positively impact people, communities, and the environment.

We are currently experiencing significant growth and are looking for a Project Support Officer to join our Project Support Team in Bristol or Glasgow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has an interest in finance and process improvement, and is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Your role

As a Project Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the Framework Manager and wider project teams, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of day-to-day framework activities. Your ability to organise information, build strong relationships, and maintain high levels of accuracy will contribute to the success of the team and our client commitments.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining project data within spreadsheets, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Monitoring the client Contract Management Portal (CONTRACTS), including uploading and downloading documents, distributing information, and supporting team communications.
  • Maintaining and updating the Framework database.
  • Managing the team inbox, responding to queries, and coordinating requests in a timely manner.
  • Updating and tracking opportunities through the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Supporting Project Managers and the Project Support Team in ensuring processes are followed from work-winning through to project delivery and close-out, in line with client and AtkinsRéalis requirements.
  • Assisting with the review of monthly client reports to ensure quality and compliance with client expectations.
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment while also taking ownership of assigned activities and responsibilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
