About the Role
Bristol City Council’s Transport Delivery Team is looking for a graduate to work for a fixed-term of one year.
This will involve assisting in the delivery of projects to:
- Provide new and improved facilities for public transport
- Provide innovative solutions to encourage greater uptake of active travel
- Remodel parts of the city centre
This role will enable you to experience life at the front line of transport policy in a major city, playing a part in delivering transport improvements that will provide benefits for the city for many years.

Employment Type
- For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.
- For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
- If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
