About The Role
The role of the Project Support Officer will be to ensure consistency across the project team with regard to processes and templates. To raise purchase orders on the Financial System and gain required authorisations before notifying the Quantity Surveyor. To assist the Project Management Team in data for reporting internally and to the Client. To assist in the development and modifications of any processes and templates for use within the project team.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Raise subcontractor purchase orders on the financial system (IFS) in accordance with subcontractor quotations on behalf of the PMs & QS.
- Work with the PMs and QS on subcontractor facing documentation (e.g. Request for Quote, Contracts).
- Assist the project management team in gathering data for reporting (forecasting) internally and to the Client.
- Assist in the development and modifications of any processes and templates.
- Assist in the review of actual costs on IFS following the completion of a project.
- Assist in the production of PMF documents to enable Gate 4 approval.
- Assist in the production of programmes utilising MS Project.
- Log PMF documents and update the tracker once approved.
- Manage the training matrix of the project team and ensure renewals are tracked.
- Share lessons learnt across the project management team.
- Undertake sample quality assurance checks on documentation.

Key Requirements
- Degree qualification desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Proficiency in MS office tools such as Excel and MS Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail.
- You will be expected to work to your own initiative, whilst also working well as an integral team member.
- Experience providing a range of administrative duties.
The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of APM and have awareness of a project management lifecycle.
