Make a difference every day as a Project Surveyor at Hafod.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Project Surveyor to join our Assets and Decarbonisation team. This is a key role that helps improve homes and communities across South Wales by delivering planned investment, refurbishment and decarbonisation projects that enhance the quality, sustainability and energy efficiency of our housing stock.

This is a permanent full-time 36 hours per week job opportunity with the option to work 9 days per fortnight.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver planned investment, improvement, and decarbonisation projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money.
  • Procure, manage, and monitor contractors and consultants, ensuring performance targets, quality standards, and project deadlines are achieved.
  • Undertake surveys, prepare specifications, tender documentation, and contract information to support effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditure, and contractor valuations, ensuring financial control and accurate forecasting throughout project lifecycles.
  • Work closely with tenants and stakeholders, providing excellent communication and ensuring customer feedback, enquiries, and complaints are managed effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
