We are looking to appoint a number of Project Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of a major construction project in Bedfordshire.

As the project continues to progress, we are growing our Commercial team and are seeking talented individuals who can contribute to the successful commercial management of this high-profile scheme. Working as part of an established team, you will play a key role in ensuring strong cost control, effective subcontractor management and successful commercial outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a significant project, working alongside experienced commercial professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the commercial aspects of designated project areas and work packages
  • Procuring and managing subcontractor packages from tender through to final account
  • Preparing valuations, cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections
  • Managing variations, change control and commercial risk
  • Supporting the preparation and agreement of final accounts
  • Working closely with operational, design and supply chain teams to support project delivery
  • Ensuring commercial procedures and controls are applied consistently across the project
  • Contributing to accurate reporting and project performance monitoring

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
  • Experience working on medium to large construction projects
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Experience managing subcontractor procurement and commercial administration
  • Good analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team
  • A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach
