About the Role

We're seeking a commercially driven Project Surveyor to lead the commercial success of high-value decarbonisation projects. Combining strong financial acumen with excellent client-facing skills, you'll manage commercial risk, maximise profitability, and build trusted relationships that ensure successful project delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring financial performance and sustainability targets are met
  • Produce accurate cost plans, forecasts, and budget reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Identify cost efficiencies that align with decarbonisation objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

  • Strong cost management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
  • Solid commercial awareness and financial understanding

Desirable

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS)
  • Experience on decarbonisation or sustainability-focused projects
