Project Systems & Data Analyst - Ocado Logistics

Hatfield Head Office

Hybrid

Why Ocado? Here at Ocado Logistics it’s our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience for our partners, developing ground-breaking technology, opening multiple sites at an accelerating rate and engaging in exciting new business partnerships around the world - changing the way the world shops, for good.

We are the beating heart of our UK business and comprise a network of cutting edge warehouses and offices across the country that ensure that we optimise the experience and use our proprietary technology across the supply chain to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. At the same time delivering bags of possibilities for our employees and a career that will ensure no two days are ever the same.

About the role

We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members - who keep our business running, our vans delivering, our customers' products picked and packed and our proprietary technology operating at optimum levels. Seamless execution across our portfolio requires clear visibility, robust automation, and intelligent data insights.

We now have an opportunity for a Project Systems & Data Analyst to join our Programme Management team to design, build, and maintain bespoke portfolio management tools, automated data pipelines, and AI-driven reporting solutions—leveraging modern "vibe coding" techniques to rapidly turn ideas into functional, high-impact products.

You will be:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining our digital PMO ecosystem as a Project Systems & Data Analyst, building bespoke tools, interactive dashboards, and automated reporting to monitor schedules, budgets, and resource capacity.
  • Using AI assistants (like Claude) and "vibe coding" workflows to rapidly prototype, iterate, and build front-end web interfaces (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Apps Scripts from scratch.
  • Building automated data pipelines and cloud integrations (using BigQuery, APIs, and Google Apps Script) to streamline portfolio visibility while maintaining rigorous data governance and system stability.
  • Partnering directly with project managers and business stakeholders across Ocado Logistics to translate business requirements into user-friendly technical solutions and drive high platform adoption.
  • Extracting, cleansing, and analysing complex datasets to produce actionable insights and clear visual reporting that support continuous business improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Proactive, curious, and fast-learning mindset with a natural enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to solve complex problems and build web applications quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings and data into clear, accessible insights for non-technical team members.
