Project Technician
Join an Asset Integrity team as a Project Technician and support the delivery of innovative offshore inspection solutions to clients around the world. Combining offshore project work with onshore planning and reporting, you'll play a key role in delivering subsea inspection, 3D modelling, and mooring integrity activities.
This is a hybrid onshore/offshore role with approximately 100 days offshore per year globally.
This is an exciting opportunity that offers exposure to offshore inspection operations, technical project delivery, and emerging inspection technologies, providing excellent opportunities for ongoing technical and professional development.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the planning and delivery of offshore inspection activities, including subsea 3D modelling and mooring integrity surveys.
- Prepare project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, task plans, and technical reports.
- Select, test, calibrate, and prepare inspection equipment to ensure systems are fully operational for deployment.
- Travel offshore to operate inspection systems, troubleshoot equipment, and deliver safe, efficient data acquisition.
- Carry out data QA/QC and produce high-quality reports and 3D models to support client decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with clients by participating in project meetings and providing technical support throughout delivery.
- Manage equipment demobilisation, post-operation testing, and defect reporting to maintain operational readiness.
- Support business development activities, equipment demonstrations, and training initiatives while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards.

- HND or above (or equivalent) in Survey Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Ability and willingness to undertake approximately 100 days offshore per year globally.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work with technical data and specialist software applications.
- Previous experience in offshore, survey, inspection, or ROV operations is preferred, along with knowledge of mooring systems and inspection techniques.
- Hands-on competence with electronic, electrical, or mechanical systems used in subsea environments. Experience with 3D modelling data capture and model generation would also be advantageous.
