Role Overview

The Project Surveyor is a key technical role within the Assets team, responsible for ensuring that the Association’s homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained, while delivering planned investment programmes that improve property condition and resident wellbeing.

Working closely with the Operations Manager Asset and Compliance and the Operations Manager Repairs and contractors, the role ensures compliance with statutory landlord obligations, supports effective contract management and delivery of high-quality capital works.

The role plays a critical part in maintaining regulatory assurance, managing building safety risks and supporting the long-term sustainability of the Association’s housing stock and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver capital works and planned maintenance programmes from inception to completion.
  • To support with the management of contractors and consultants, ensuring quality, value for money and compliance.
  • Carry out stock condition surveys and accurately enter data onto housing management system.
  • To support the delivery of the Association’s asset management strategy and investment plans.
  • To investigate and resolve complex property issues, including damp, mould and disrepair
