Project Assistant
As a Project Assistant, you will work closely with our team of Project Managers, supporting projects from initial design concept, through planning and execution, to completion. You’ll play an active role in the day-to-day running of projects, gaining valuable experience across the full project lifecycle while learning from experienced Project Managers and the wider team.
You’ll help ensure construction methods and materials are carefully considered with budgets, quality, and timelines in mind, helping bring each project to life to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to develop your project management skills, take on increasing responsibility, and grow your career within the business.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Project Managers to coordinate projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Liaise with clients, under the guidance of the Project Manager, to gather information and ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Support the preparation of quotations, project scopes, schedules, and other project documentation.
- Maintain project schedules, tracking key deadlines, actions, approvals, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track.
- Order and track materials, products, and equipment required for projects, liaising with suppliers to confirm availability, lead times, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate project logistics and ensure materials, information, and resources are available when required.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, recording information and highlighting any issues to the relevant Project Manager.
- Coordinate information between clients, Project Managers, workshop teams, suppliers, and site teams.
- Track project progress, follow up outstanding actions, and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, documentation, and client correspondence.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Project Managers and wider team.

Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive team player who is happy to get involved and take ownership of allocated tasks.
- Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow direction and recognize when issues need to be escalated.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Previous project administration or coordination experience would be advantageous.

Role Details
- Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday–Friday
- Location: Workshop based, Belvedere, DA17 6BS
- Off-site: Occasional travel to client and project sites.
