Project Manager - Services
Location: Burnfoot, Co. Donegal
Schedule: Full-time | Office-based with some flexibility

About The Role
Vertiv is hiring a Project Manager to join our expanding Services organisation in Burnfoot.
This is a unique hybrid role combining technical solution development, project coordination, customer engagement, and team leadership. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all non-contract service enquiries, supporting customers with customised technical solutions and quotations tailored to their operational needs.
Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Production, CAD, and Project Delivery teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are technically aligned, commercially accurate, and delivered successfully.
This role offers excellent exposure across EMEA along with strong opportunities for career progression and professional development within a rapidly growing service business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for service sales enquiries, including customer requirements definition, scoping, and solution development
- Attend pre-sales meetings and site visits as required
- Develop bills of materials, labour estimations, and quotation documentation; review for technical accuracy before issue
- Collaborate cross-functionally with CAD, Production, and Project Delivery to ensure technical alignment
- Support delivery of non-contract projects, monitoring timelines and margins and escalating issues as needed
- Maintain quotation templates, pricing tools, and project tracking systems
- Build strong working relationships across departments and stakeholders

Essential
- Strong technical knowledge of LV Switchgear
- Ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem solving
- Collaborative mindset with strong leadership capability
- Willingness to travel as required
Desirable
- Experience working within a service environment
- Knowledge of MV Switchgear
Work Environment
This is primarily an office-based role located in Burnfoot, with occasional travel to customer sites and other Vertiv locations as required. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Services throughout EMEA.
