Job Title: Proofreader
Location: Fully Remote - UK Based
Contract: 12 months – Outside IR35
Day Rate: Competitive
Start Date: Early–Mid September 2026

The Role

This is an opportunity to join a long-standing client of Instinct’s within the higher education space, supporting the development of a new suite of digital learning modules.

You will proofread and quality assure eLearning content, reviewing directly within Articulate Rise to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and functioning correctly.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proofreading/copyediting experience, ideally within eLearning
  • Working knowledge of Articulate Rise
  • Excellent UK English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Strong eye for consistency, formatting, and terminology
  • Ability to identify functional issues including broken links and incorrect knowledge checks

  • Accounting or finance terminology

  • Understanding of instructional design principles
