About the Role

Skills You’ll Need (Minimum Criteria)
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills, with an understanding of the inventory process of goods in and out within a prop store
- This role will involve carrying, manoeuvring, and organising heavy props and furniture on a daily basis. You must have the knowledge and experience of how to lift and carry safely.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to set design and prop storage environments
- The ability to work both independently unsupervised and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and progress within the Props Department, and a passion for the job and all that it entails with positivity and enthusiasm
- Full Clean driving licence (or equivalent arrangements as part of a reasonable adjustment where a disability has been disclosed)

Other Things We’re Looking For (Key Criteria)
- Strong practical abilities and competent in basic DIY & use of tools
- Possess strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise confidently with Prop Buyers, the Design team, and wider production staff.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills with the initiative to handle challenges creatively and independently
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A good working knowledge of Coronation Street and its sets and characters
- Willingness and ability to step into other roles within the Props team if required.
