I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

MadeStays assesses each opportunity and agrees the commercial terms. Acquisition Partners cannot approve properties, promise financial returns or enter into agreements on our behalf.
Your Network, Supported by Our Technology
You can build opportunities through your own contacts and prospecting, with access to our property acquisition platform, structured onboarding, approved sales materials and ongoing support.
Our technology also identifies and organises prospective owners and operators by territory. Eligible partners can claim opportunities, manage conversations and track progress in one place.
Access to these opportunities depends on availability, territory, activity, performance, lead quality and compliance with the Acquisition Partner Agreement. Consistent, quality work can lead to increased access, but no set number of leads or successful outcomes is guaranteed.
What You’ll Be Introducing
Our Marketing & Booking service supports property marketing, distribution and bookings. Owners and operators retain responsibility for the physical stay, including cleaning, maintenance and guest operations.
For suitable London homes, our Fully Managed service provides broader commercial and operational support.
