Property Acquisitions Executive

Location: Manchester — hybrid working
Salary: £24,000 basic + uncapped commission
OTE: £60,000 per year
Type: Full-time

About Us

We’re building a property trading business in Manchester with ambitious plans for growth over the next 12–24 months. Our business connects property owners looking for a solution with investors looking to acquire good property opportunities.

But we want to do things differently. We want to build NORTH on strong ethics that provide value to everyone we work with. People approach us for all sorts of reasons. Our role is to understand why they want to sell, explain their options honestly and see whether we can create a solution that genuinely works for both sides. Sometimes that will mean buying their property. Sometimes we’ll be able to introduce another buyer. And sometimes the right thing to do will be to tell them we’re not their best option. We want to build a highly successful company without compromising on that philosophy.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Property Acquisitions Executive to become one of the earliest members of our team. You’ll sit at the heart of the seller side of the business. We generate enquiries from property owners across the UK who are considering selling. Your responsibility is to respond quickly, understand their circumstances, build a relationship with them and ultimately identify opportunities where we can help.

Initially, you’ll work closely with the founder on valuations, offers and more complicated negotiations. As your knowledge develops, you’ll take increasing ownership of the entire acquisitions process.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding quickly to inbound enquiries from property owners
  • Speaking with sellers by phone and building genuine rapport
  • Understanding the seller’s circumstances, motivation and desired timescale
  • Gathering detailed information about their property
  • Maintaining accurate records and follow-up tasks within our CRM
  • Consistently following up with potential sellers
  • Researching properties and comparable sales
  • Working with our underwriting process to establish viable purchase prices
  • Presenting and explaining offers to sellers
  • Handling objections and negotiating agreements
  • Securing suitable properties for purchase or onward sale
  • Working closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth journey from agreement through to completion

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is fundamentally a sales and relationship-building role. You’ll spend a significant amount of time speaking to people on the phone, so you need to genuinely enjoy talking to people.

Who We’re Looking For

Property experience would be useful, but it’s not essential. We can teach someone how to analyse a property. It’s much harder to teach someone to be curious, empathetic, commercially sharp and relentlessly proactive.

We’re particularly interested in people with backgrounds in areas such as estate agency, recruitment, high ticket sales, business development, mortgage/financial services or other relationship-led sales environments.

More important than your CV, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • Excellent with people — you can build rapport quickly with almost anyone
  • Empathetic — you listen before trying to sell
  • Commercially minded — you understand that ultimately we need to create profitable transactions
  • Hungry — you want your earnings and responsibilities to grow
  • Resilient — you’re comfortable with rejection and persistent follow-up
  • Proactive — you don’t need somebody constantly telling you what to do next
  • Coachability — you’re willing to learn, receive feedback and improve
  • Organised — you can manage a pipeline containing dozens of conversations simultaneously
  • Ethical — you won’t compromise someone’s interests simply to earn commission

Compensation & Progression

Basic salary: £24,000
Uncapped competitive commission
Target OTE: £60,000 per year

We want exceptional performance to be financially rewarded. But the opportunity goes beyond commission. We’re at the beginning of building this company. Our intention is to grow significantly over the next 12 months, building teams across property acquisitions, investor sales, underwriting, operations and marketing. Someone joining today won’t be joining an established corporate structure with ten people above them. You’ll be joining while we’re building it. As the company grows, we want our best early employees to grow with it. For the right person, there could therefore be a genuine pathway.

Our Culture

We want to build a Manchester-based team that genuinely enjoys working together. High standards. High performance. Ambitious targets. But also a place where people are treated properly, wins are celebrated, people help each other and everyone feels like they’re building something together. We don’t believe those things are incompatible. We want to prove that you can build a highly profitable property company while doing business ethically and treating sellers with respect.

If you’re ambitious, brilliant with people and excited by the opportunity to join a company near the beginning of its journey, we’d love to hear from you.
