Property Administrator

We are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Property Administrator to join the business. The purpose of this role is to carry out any property administration tasks for BWSIPP clients as required. The SIPP Practice Area provides administration and trusteeship services to self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised. We hold over 1,300 commercial properties and are looking to grow in this area.

This role will be based in our Glasgow office and working on a Hybrid basis (2 days per week in office).

A Snapshot of Your Day

  • Process and support SIPP property transactions for property core processes
  • Process SIPP property transactions for property sub processes
  • Ensure all client/advisor process transactions meet legal and legislative requirements in their execution
  • Escalate legal and legislative issues in the first instance to the Property Team Leader and/or follow BWSIPP established escalation protocols
  • Liaise proactively with SIPP members, their financial advisers, solicitors and other property professionals ensuring process transactions /expectations are completed/met within SLA and or in a timely manner
  • Support SIPP property SME in developing suitable /appropriate technical training
  • Support, Implement and Maintain Information Security procedures and activities in accordance to Barnett Waddingham’s Information Security Policy

We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have:

  • Experience in a similar role at a SIPP or SSAS operator, with a law firm engaged in property transactions or SIPP or SSAS arrangements within a firm of surveyors is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with clients where appropriate and key partners is essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
