Property Advisor

As a Property Advisor, you'll be an integral part of our Property - Maintenance team, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities across our supermarket properties. Your role is to ensure a seamless and timely response to maintenance needs, working closely with our property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for all properties, ensuring a proactive approach.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and internal teams for efficient maintenance execution.
  • Monitor and track maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and regular updates.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential issues and plan preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with the property team to prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all maintenance activities and costs.
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in property maintenance.
  • Support the property team in achieving maintenance goals and objectives.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar property maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with teams.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions regarding maintenance.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the retail industry.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, willing to work in a dynamic environment.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
