The Role
This role will play a key part in the continued development of our offering to our clients, including driving and building key relationships across our market as we look to satisfy our clients’ needs and grow the account. It will also mean strong collaboration across the Allianz Commercial family working to create opportunities across the mid, large corporate space including multinational aspects.
The role will require strong technical underwriting knowledge in the Property and Casualty lines of business, as you will be responsible for underwriting key accounts, driving intelligent new business growth and acting as a senior authority holder within the business.
This is a hybrid position based out of our London office.
Salary Information
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Acting as a Senior Authority holder focused on winning and retaining business of a large and complex nature
- Providing excellent service to our customers
- To build and develop successful Broker relationships
- To be visible in the local market, you will thrive on face to face contact with brokers and end customers
- To develop business relationships with key clients
- To achieve agreed financial and operational performance targets
- To collaborate strongly with other departments to achieve the Company's goals in respect of service delivery

Essential Skills
- Outstanding technical underwriting skills in commercial property and casualty writing >£500k business
- Proven track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks
- Capable of leveraging data and analytics
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent trading skills and a confident negotiator. Proven experience in handling large cases.
- Strong ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationships.
- Achievement orientated, able to organise own workload to meet tight deadlines and with a positive attitude.
- A good team player. Supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Confident and engaging communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence others.
- ACII qualified or progression towards
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Desirable Skills
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
