As Commercial & Cost Coordinator, you will be involved in supporting the Commercial Property team in the day to day management of projects, including the management and processing of project costs, liaising with our consultants, and managing the existing and potential supply base across construction. You will also support in the governance and sign off of capital budgets.

You Will:

  • Cost Planning & Budget Management

    • Assist Cost Managers with budget management across multiple workstreams.
    • Coordinate cash flow forecasts from the QS team to feed into the overall financial forecast
    • Support QSs with requesting and managing accurate budget requests, order raising, and receipting.
    • Provide cost support on Trading Project Property works to ensure best value on framework rates and quotations.
    • Help to manage WIP reporting, and accruals.
  • Commercial Operations & Supplier Management

    • Manage the allocations process, liaising with internal stakeholders with the support of the commercial managers to ensure allocation of work aligns with supplier performance, commercial objectives, and supplier strategy.
  • Governance, Controls & Compliance

    • Provide audit and governance support to Legal and Business Controls processes.
    • Plan and coordinate with the Commercial and PMO teams to support governance submissions.
  • Contract Administration & Commercial Support

    • Manage, coordinate, and track legal contractual submissions, including Global Agreements, Consultant Order Particulars, Letters of Contract, and Purchase Order Particulars.
    • Support the administration and monitoring of contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Assist with purchase order management and financial commitment tracking.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

    • Collaborate with Property teams across multiple workstreams to support commercial objectives.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with external construction suppliers to support project delivery.
    • Liaise with internal and external Legal teams to support contractual processes, compliance activities, and commercial governance.

  • To be proactive and self-motivated to ensure deadlines are delivered and risks escalated in an efficient and timely manner
  • Great interpersonal skills having a good track record of delivering great customer service.
  • The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • The ability to work cross functionally with a range of key stakeholders.
  • Excel proficient, with knowledge of SAP and advantage.
