Our Property Insurance team works with many of the UK’s leading property insurers, handling a wide range of claims arising from fires, floods, escapes of water, storms, explosions, vehicle impacts and other causes of property damage. The team manages a mixture of high‑profile and high‑value matters and is continuing to grow as we win work from both existing and new clients.
You’ll be joining a knowledgeable, supportive, and highly respected team that is known for delivering excellent results while developing strong relationships across the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a caseload of predominantly multi‑track property damage claims (claimant work)
- Handling coverage disputes and providing clear, commercially‑focused advice to clients.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and industry contacts.
- Taking ownership of aspects of key client relationships.
- Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior team members.
- Leading or contributing to cross‑departmental projects.
- Delivering presentations, training, seminars and supporting wider business development initiatives.
- Sharing market insights and supporting the development of new services and thought leadership.
- Meeting financial and performance targets while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
- Ensuring full compliance with SRA rules, data protection and all internal policies
What do I need?
- Qualified lawyer with 2 years PQE and strong experience in insurance and property damage.
- A strong academic background.
- Hardworking, proactive, and highly organised.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to continue developing technical knowledge and expertise.
- Critical thinking skills and the confidence to challenge information appropriately.
