Help shape land and property decisions that make a difference

We're looking for an experienced Property Surveyor to join the Mining Remediation Authority and help manage a diverse land portfolio that supports projects protecting people, communities and the environment across Great Britain.

This is an opportunity to lead on land acquisitions, disposals, lease management and property transactions, while providing expert advice that helps shape the future use of our estate.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing land and property acquisitions, disposals and agreements
  • Leading negotiations with landowners and external stakeholders
  • Managing leases, valuations, covenants and property risks
  • Providing expert property advice across the organisation
  • Supporting projects that deliver environmental and community benefits

About you

You'll have:

  • Experience in property, land or estate management
  • Strong knowledge of property transactions and associated legislation
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage complex property issues and deliver practical solutions
  • Membership of, or progress towards, a relevant professional body
