Property Finance Director

OUR CLIENT are UK wide specialist commercial property and asset managers. They are now seeking an experienced Property Finance Director. This is a senior leadership role responsible for full production of the client / service charge accounts and managing client relationships.

The Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Client Accounts team, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support.
  • Oversee the client accounting function for a nationwide commercial property portfolio.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of service charge accounts in accordance with RICS Professional Standards.
  • Oversee all aspects of rental income, including income processing, banks reconciliations, and client reporting.
  • Review and approve client account reconciliations.
  • Work closely with Property Managers to support the financial management of their portfolios and resolve client accounting queries.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Train and support more junior members of the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering a proactive and professional service.
  • Oversee the effective use of the QUBE property management system, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and service delivery across the client accounting function.
  • Support the onboarding of new property instructions and client transitions from a financial perspective.

The Person and Skills Requirements:

  • Significant experience in commercial service charge / client accounting.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Be tech savvy and have experience of using a property management system.
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
