About us

VPZ is the UK’s number one vape retailer. Since opening our first store in Edinburgh, we've expanded to over 200 locations across the UK and we're not stopping there. We are known for setting and driving the standards within the vape industry, this is a great time to join us as we continue to grow.

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Property Graduate to join our fast-growing national retail business. Based at our Edinburgh Head Office, this is a high exposure development role offering hands-on experience across our nationwide property portfolio and continued store expansion.

You will gain broad commercial property experience across new store projects, portfolio management, property analysis, and external stakeholder relationships, with increasing responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of projects as you develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Store Projects: Support new store openings from initial property assessment through to fit-out, snagging, and handover, coordinating contractors, suppliers, surveys, and key project milestones.
  • Property & Expansion: Assist with property viewings, site assessments, competitor and demographic research, property due diligence, and identifying future expansion opportunities.
  • Portfolio Management: Support the day-to-day management of our nationwide property portfolio, maintaining key property trackers and documentation while assisting with lease events, negotiations, landlord matters, and ongoing property requirements.
  • Relationships & Networks: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, commercial property agents, and landlords, while developing a growing network of trusted property contacts across the UK.
  • Commercial Analysis: Research property markets, comparable rents, and potential locations, producing analysis and recommendations to support commercial and management decisions.
  • Project Coordination: Maintain project management systems and workflows, obtain and compare quotations, monitor deadlines and actions, and work across internal teams to ensure projects and property works are delivered effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
