Role Description
This full-time, on-site Property Lawyer role is based in Daventry. The Property Lawyer will manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Responsibilities include:

- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Conducting title checks and due diligence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other parties
- Advising on legal issues throughout the transaction
- Preparing and completing all necessary documentation
- Managing exchange and completion processes
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and lender requirements
- Contributing to a high standard of client service by communicating clearly, resolving issues promptly, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and systems

Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or legal executive with relevant practicing certificate and proven experience in residential conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of property law, Land Registry procedures, lender requirements, and regulatory compliance within the conveyancing sector.
- Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and build effective relationships with clients and partners.
- Solid case management, organization, and time-management abilities, including handling multiple files, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate records.
- Comfort with legal and conveyancing technology, digital case management systems, and secure communication tools; willingness to learn new systems.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for reviewing contracts, titles, search results, and other legal documentation.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to contribute to a supportive team environment and share best practices.
- Previous experience working with estate agents and lenders is beneficial; experience in a high-volume conveyancing practice is an advantage.
